Life is hard, especially after the completion of High School. Should I become a Surgeon, by my choice, or an Architect, by the choice of my parents. I know there is a big difference between these two careers. But my parents are absent from that feeling.
My choices are

-Botonist
-or Horticulture

Got into an online relationship with a woman overseas. Lasted two years. Family discouraged my involvement with her, some of it based on logical considerations (helped her land an internship position at a med school in the US, but her visa was denied because her home country where she hasn't lived in five years is a warzone and they'd expect someone like her to claim asylum the moment they step off the plane - my family floated this possibility before it happened), some of it on batshit religious reasons I disagree with (she grew up in a Muslim family and thus hates us and wants us all dead - learned some things about my folks' beliefs that is unprintable).

Don't get me wrong. Not bad people, my family, but I dropped an insane situation on them and they're genuinely concerned. I do NOT want to cause them more hardship, badmouth them or alienate them further. Our relationship is at an all-time low, and I want to try to salvage it, but...

I have an opportunity to help this woman in a way which will alter the course of her life. There's a job opportunity here, and they're willing to sponsor a visa for her (no guarantee she'd be approved). The career path she's aiming for, medical residency in the US, is closed off to her unless she's living here (she can't take all of the requisite tests (USMLE Step 2 CS) to apply for it if she can't get permission to come here). It's an extremely difficult path for foreign medical graduates, and may not be possible.

Trying to decide whether to tell her about the job and risk completely losing my relationship with my parents (who I've already put through so much with this - how is any parent to react when they learn about something like this?), or not tell her and let her find her own path forward. I don't want to plant false hope, as being approved is a longshot, and residency is no easy hurdle. I would want her to make this choice because it's best for her, even if I weren't in the picture.

Okay, let me explain my situation at the moment.

I am currently 50,000 dollars in debt from student loans. I have about two months worth of payments left in my bank account (I own my own home so most of my saved money goes to that first).

I am currently in between jobs. I was PREVIOUSLY a Hardware and Technical Support Technician (fix computers, set up servers, etc). I JUST completed my schooling to become a PROGRAMMER (better pay, and specializes in creating apps).

I NEED a job, like, RIGHT now. My bills will not pay for themselves and the interest is only getting worse. However, on my plate I have two options.

A - A technical support job that pays 50,000 dollars a year, and I can start as soon as March 14th, which is pretty much right away. I am 100 percent sure I can land this job. Unfortunately, I will be back to doing what I already know, I am not expanding my career or my education in anyway taking this job.

B - A entry level programming job that starts me off at 80,000 dollars a year, with an excellent chance of advancement. I am about 75 percent sure I can land this job, and the interview process is in 3 tiers, it will take about a whole month just to complete the entire interview process. Landing this job will definitely take some time, IF I can even land it.

Which road should I take? If I take choice B, I will lose choice A, they are not willing to wait a whole month for me to choose.
