My girlfriend and I are talking engagement and the question of whether to get all new stuff came up.

Some stuff is in good shape, but some is junk. There are plates that don't math and every shape of glass over years. At my age, this stuff has seen many different people.

Who thinks about discarding most stuff and getting new vs being frugal and saving $ and using what is in good shape?

What is your reason for discarding or being frugal?

How do you manage depression caused by job. It has been 4 months. Not even a day passed when I didn't have depression anxiety due to extreme job pressure, deadlines and all. I came from rough job background. My previous job was mentally harassing where they fired 16 people from 30 people team. I had my engagement scheduled. I can't just be jobless.

So I switched after being there for 6 months. So quitting is not the option as I left last company in 6 months, and I spent only 4 months here.

In 2 months probation period I kept thinking like will they fire me in probation or what. I mean having come from company that fired people that too in covid impacted my current job too plus huge work pressure at current job.

I wish I had better life. I haven't seen a movie or series in past 3 months.

Each day I wake up, same thoughts occur till sleep. Anxiety about job. Will they fire me and what not.

I feel like escaped from crocodile but eaten by lion.
