The other night a big misunderstanding happened where my sister left a piece of a condom wrapper in her bag and I used that bag to sleep over my BFs house. I packed legging pants (very clingy material) and wore it the next day. Later on that night I felt a wrapper by the edge of pant leg by my calf and pulled out the condom wrapper and showed it to my BF.

He then accused me of cheating! I showed it to him though ! His friends were there and believed me and my sister even admitted she left wrapper in there and he still didn't beleive me really. That night he wanted to end it and told his fren he never wanted to talk to me agen. the next day he IMed me and I came over his house. His fren was there and my Boyfriend was acting jerkish in a little kid way. "cheater cheater you're a cheater, I'm not your boyfriend no more! hoe! " then he would get mad if his fren joked wit me and my Boyfriend tickled me and wrestled with me!

Then he spoke of future like "yeah we gotta go to six flags", then say "if you want me to forgive you or believe you, blow me or were done" then he'd laugh. I'm so confused and don understand his behavior. If he reallly thought I did it, he wouldn't have spoke at all to me, right? His fren thinks he's playin games with me. then he texts me good night with a heart and tells me to text him when I get home.

I don understand! but hell keep jokin "youre a cheater". then we had sex and it was ammmmaazing and I sed "are you doin this cause you want one las f&8#k and you're gonna ignore me after? he sed "no, I really wudnt do that" . were Iming each other now and when I was upset over condom blame I admitted I loved him! I ggot drunk and sed that cause I wanted him to beleive me. then he brought it up and sed "you told me you loveed me " in a sing song voice! based on all of this, what the fudge is going on?

That is why even though I am a black chick I would never try to have the likes of Rush Limbaugh pushed off a radio. 1. All it does is make him a Martyr 2. The fan base who believes what he does will exist with or without him.

That said, I had a recent thread where I was called a psycho and paranoid and pathetic just because I preached the idea that both men and women should be responsible for their own body's when it came to sex and procreation. We are all the guardians of our own bodies, right?

My argument was that a man should never claim to be trapped per se if he has sex without a condom since we all know how babies are made. The fact that some girls may attempt to get pregnant on purpose is a double reason to keep it wrapped.

At one point the gent asked me if I felt that way with long term relationships. I said yes--even in a marriage becasue birth control is not fool proof and you can not always count on the fidelity of a lover.

Mind you--I did not say that all people will cheat--just never assume an individual won't do something of that nature--especially if health or potential parenthood are at stake. It was a small point that was an aside not the issue itself.

Well instead of answering my questions regarding the potential of birth control methods to fail even when one is being careful--he and an offline friend of his I suppose-- start trashing me as someone who thinks everyone cheats folks and that I lead a pathetic, paranoid life.

Uhm--not even. In every relationship I had the guys were all treated with trust. Some cheated , some did not but I never made them pay for the mistakes of the previous male before him. In fact, most wanted me back when our relationship ended.

I am also currently in a marriage with a beautiful man in body and spirit--I trust him with my soul but would never deign to say what he would or would not do--no man can make that claim about anyone.

Do I trust him. Yes. Do I also know he is human and can fall. Yes. It is not something I worry about, just acknowledge.

That was my only point.

Paranoid? Dude was practically preaching that all unwanted pregnancies were because of women wanting to trap men--who as being paranoid here?

There are accidents and there are those who trap--so keep it wrapped...lol...

I just think I struck a chord--something that he did not want to face or accept, which is a simple fact of life as we are all ultimately responsible for our own choices in life.

Some people cannot accept that but calling me names does not change this fact.

Most folks on G.A.G are very good about disagreeing but why do some just go off on an individual publicly because they disagree?

I just recently created a post where I asked why some men will claim to be trapped by pregnancy when they engage in unprotected sex. Got into a heated exchange with a gent who took everything I said and twisted it around because he wanted so much not to accept responsibility for his own choices.

Like, he asked about what if an individual was in a monogamous relationship and didn't want to use condoms -- to which I said condoms should be used until ready to have a kid -- for a host of reasons.

While we would all love to trust our partners to say people are incapable of certain actions is silly, even well intended persons could alter their behavior for a host of reasons.

My thing was--if I knew that I could pay for the rest of my life for one mistake--I would be double wrapping it if I was a guy. If I chose not to, then I would have to say “Welp--there yah go…”

Life does not always hand us the most pleasant of outcomes or people with good intentions.

My examples were to make the individual understand that they should always take personal responsibility for their own bodies and their own destiny, male or female.

Like INVICTUS we are all masters of our own fates and the captains of our souls!

And this in all aspects of life.

So many people blame the world for their choices when they were just that--choices.

While we can be tricked or wronged, it is how we choose to react that makes a difference between who we are and the path we travel in life.

How many women get wronged by playahs and assume all men are dogs? How many men get stung by a shallow beauty queen and make girls pay for it for years?

I have had a rough life, but I swore I would always remain open to love. It was a struggle and like most I had my baggage--I acknowledged it and worked on it and now have the best relationship in the world with a great man and an amazing life.

But I had to accept responsibility for ALL of my choices, even in situations where I was wronged. I had to own it and release it.

Today, all I see is finger pointing, blame games and hate--which is why I strive so hard to point out what BOTH SIDES of the battle are doing--if we can see how we contribute to the war, maybe we can stop, have a dialogue and affect change--but only if we are willing to look in the mirror and see where we too , can change.

Believe it or not, I have even run into men who think this way too (this one friend of mine in particular comes to mind. He was so in love with his girl that he kept trying to get her to get off birth control so they could have an "accident". Yeah, they broke up.)...

But usually it is the woman who falls prey to this type of faulty thinking.

Now, I just asked a question in relation to men trying to claim they were trapped when they do not use protection during sex and a pregnancy results.

To that end I say, guys, do not leave your reproductive destiny to anyone, least of all the woman you are sleeping with. By using a condom keep it wrapped so you don't get trapped.

But as far as chicks go, how fair is it to bring a child in the world as a means to an end? The child will come with needs and responsibilities that go far beyond your agendas.

A wise woman once told me that when a marriage is strong a baby will strengthen it--when it is weak, a child will only destroy it.

My hubby and I are a case in point. We were crazy in love before the baby and when she did come he was overjoyed--she has filled our lives with pure joy and I have never seen a more doting father or a stronger father/daughter relationship.

On the flipside, if a marriage or relationship is crumbling, do you think a crying, wailing, financially draining bundle of energy is gonna make things better?

There are so many unwanted children in the world--how many times will we turn on the TV and hear about some child being killed by their parents?

Stop the madness. Bring a child into a loving strong and vibrant relationship--don't have a kid in attempt to "save" something that may be doomed to begin with...

It's not fair to the child, to you or to your man.

Some things just come to an end--let the relationship die a merciful death, work on yourself a bit, then try to find a man who will love to have kids as much as you do. In that way, you can provide an loving healthy environment for that child to thrive.
