In regards to human beings; do you "average" is positive (not-negative) or negative?

To be honest, I literally think "average" is the worst thing a human being can be. It makes you disposable, common, and utterly without value. It's like being sh*t-tier, but not so bad, you feel a need to improve anything. It is the mindset of being fine contributing just enough of the bare minimum for no one to notice a concern for improvement. Someone who is willfully "average," is literally and objectively a worthless human being, contributing nothing by their very existence.

If you are average or consider "average" to be "good enough," then why? Don't you want to have value to your existence and actually contribute to civilization as an individual than just another worthless meaningless flesh-bag following orders? Are you content with just "existing" but not mattering whatsoever (at least, among humanity and by local standards) and being fully replaceable as a person? Don't you want to be remembered after your gone and leave behind a lasting positive impact on the world? I can't imagine myself not ever feeling this way.
