You meet a guy in their late 20's. He is smart, has a high paying job, physically fit, nice place and car, and a good personality. However, he was a nice guy throughout his life and basically treated girls with respect, took them on dates, and showed affection for them early. Behaving like that ruined his chances with the girl all the time and at best he was mitigated to a friend or dumped. So he's 29 and still a virgin.

You meet this wonderful man and go out on dates with him and eventually take a leap of fate and have sex with him. After having sex sometime later he meet you face to face to tell you that he wants to break up with you.

He explains that having been alone for many years and seeing everyone else fall in love and girls he like always rejecting him kind of corroded his heart over time. He began to lose the capacity to feel love and to express it and now sort of feels dead inside. He though having sex would help bring out some of his past feelings in his youth where he was head over heels in love with a girl but it didn't and wants to break up with you.

The reason for breaking up is because he doesn't think he can have a functional relationship with you because he cannot reciprocate and truly love you. As stated previously he feels dead inside and devoid of the capacity to love a person on that level of intimacy.
