In my life, I have seen a lot of single moms. My mom was also a single mom. She had her first kid when she was 18 with a guy she new for less than 5 months. She then had another kid at age 21 with another guy she knew less than a year. She eventually met my dad 5 years down the road, they dated for 5 years, had me, and they are still together.

My mom told me about her struggles as a single, young mom and even though she loves all her children, she regrets having kids so young. She didn't get to go to college, she didn't get to travel, she didn't get really experience life because she had kids so young.

My older sister did the same thing as my mom. So did my female cousins. They all had kids with men they weren't dating very long and ended up being single mom at a young age.

I am currently 27. I finished college. I have a great job. I'm financially secure... and I have my own home. Getting into the dating world, I keep meeting a lot of single moms who are in my age range with 5-6 year old kids.

I guess I am throwing all this out there, because I don't get the rush to have kids. I understand women have to race against the clock as they age... but it seems people have no chill. What ever happened to finding the right partner, dating for years, enjoying your partner, travelling with your partner, really getting to know your partner and making sure both of you are financially stable to provide for a child?

It seems like people date for a few months before having a kid and they don't get to experience having a fun time with their partner or focus on providing a stable atmosphere for their kid...

-Wants to get married
-Wants to have biological children
-Wants to be with a "real woman" (i dont care who this offends)
-Just fucking feels like knowing

8 months ago I met this woman named Monica on a hookup site. Me and Monica instantly clicked. We got along and had so much fun on the first date, but. She revealed on the first day she’s in an open marriage. I asked why. She tells me it’s because the husband has erectile dysfunction and he can’t sexually please her. She’s in her late 30’s with. I’m my late 20’s! She only dates guys 10 years younger than her. I didn’t think much of it I was just looking to get laid at the time.

2 weeks later Monica tells me I can’t see other women. She wanted me to be her boyfriend while she’s married. I told her I can’t do that. She got angry and said “I’m selfish”. Her story about the open marriage changed. She told me she and her husband don’t have a relationship. They’re only together to raise a child. Because the husband loves her child like it’s his own. Monica expected me to wait 3 years for her. Until her child is an adult. So she can divorce her husband. I didn’t take any of that seriously at the time.

I continued smashing Monica on a down-low. She started acting like the perfect girlfriend. Doing everything for me. She even introduced me to her friends as her boyfriend. I had a lot of fun with her. After 3 months I decided to let her go. She broke down. While she was out of my life. I tried dating someone else and that didn’t work. So I ended up going back to Monica.

I went back to smashing her on a downlow. Than a month ago I decided to let her go again. She still kept calling n texting me. About a week ago she texting me to tell me she found a man better than me. And she’s divorcing her husband for her new man.

I tried dating another after my that. And it didn’t work. I still have Monica stuck in my head.
How do I get my mind off her? Is this normal?

In China some parents are unofficially adopting and raising a female child. They do this so when their son is old enough, he will have a girlfriend/wife. Men outnumber women in China and there will be at least 30 million men that will never have a relationship or a wife. The Chinese parents that do this usually get a daughter the same age as their son, and their son and the girl grow up together in the same home. Then they become boyfriend+girlfriend and marry.

The entire world is becoming difficult for many guys to find a good girl. Why do you think violent crimes, mass shootings are increasing in occurrence? Why do you think men are dropping out of society and dating?

It's because when guys don't have a girl in their life, many times they decide to do the very minimum necessary to survive, and then just have fun alone with the rest of their time (movies, fitness, outdoors, travel, adult movies, or video games).

So if the leaders of the world decided to universally allow parents to do what Chinese parents are doing, would you do you what the Chinese parents are doing so you can ensure your son will have a girlfriend in his teen years and then marry her, and she will be a virgin for him so he will get that extra boost of pride that comes from being a girl's first? Why or why not?
