It seems to be more common now that men want women to be the one in charge: asking out, making decisions, giving directions, delegating tasks, driving the car, proposing, making the money, etc. Might this become the new norm?

So I have a car but my boyfriend doesn’t. He’s been saving up but it’s been 5 months and he’s only saved 145 bucks, even tho he has the extra money he’s not not big on saving. So I drive us everywhere which I don’t mind but sometimes it can get a little irritating. I pick him up from his house (we both still live at home) and round trip from my place to his, to back home is 40 minutes. Which isn’t awful because it’s only 20 minutes there but I do it almost everyday. We work together and I live 3 minutes from the job but he lives 20 so I do a lot of extra driving. My car takes the expensive gas unfortunately so when I looked at my bill, I had spend almost 200 on gas on that month alone. He gives some gas money when I ask for it (but that feels weird to ask) but over the course of a month it’s never over 20 or 40 bucks in gas money if I’m lucky. I really like this guy but sometimes I feel unappreciated. I don’t know how to get more money for gas without seeming like an ass
