I’m 23 and still a virgin. I’ve never had a boyfriend but this guy I am referring to wants to be exclusive and seems to want the long-term relationship that can lead to marriage and such. He told me he isn’t rushing me to have sex, however anytime we are intimate, he puts out the that this is hard for him and told he isn’t willing to wait for marriage. He believes that the guy and girl should have sex to confirm there is an intimate connection to determine if he is in love with them over time or just to maintain the relationship.
Neither of us are religious but he seems to like me enough to take off work every weekend to see me and has treated me well. We laugh and have fun in most every aspect. I am scared to lose my virginity to him, any guy in general. My reasons are that he may leave me and I left with that regret. He says that isn’t going to happen. Is he messing with me?

I am seeing this guy and we are exclusive, according to him. He’s been in relationships and is no longer a virgin (evidently). I am 23 and still am. However, he mentions that this is “my gift” and I should not feel in a rush to give it up. He says we have a great emotional connection and he has fun with me physically, but the sexual concern on both sides (his drive/experience and my concerns) are a hurdle. However, he says he still wants something long term with me.

I am also afraid that he will end up leaving me after I give it up. I told him this too. I always had this fear of giving it up and the guy walking out. He doesn’t seem that type, he’s treated me good. And says he intends to be with me for the long haul. Is there an issue or is it in my head?
The only issue would be waiting until marriage and I don’t plan to wait that long😳

So say an friends with benefits happens for a few months, they talk a lot and go on dates too, sex chemistry is awesome, communication is awesome. But the "what is this going on between us" talk hasn't yet happened.

The girl has feelings but doesn't want to ruin their relationship. So she choose to wait for the guy to start "the talk".

But in the mean time, are there signs that the girl can see from the guy? How to know if he only sees her as an friends with benefits or he sees her as more?

And, how long does it take for a guy to be sure to move from friends with benefits to a real relationship?

I am talking to this guy I met from OKC for around 2 weeks. Before we met in person, we FaceTimed and spoke on the phone for hours. When we met in person, we went on a date to a fine dining location and we discussed prior to meeting up to possibly go play video games at his pad. I say pad because he is a truck driver that recently moved from another location and is still residing in the truck. The inside looks like a tiny room. After the date, we went to this truck and relaxed. He asked to kiss me.

We ended up making out and it got pretty hot (in my opinion at least). He is not a virgin and I still am. I am not necessarily saying that I am going to wait until marriage but I wanted to know worst case scenario if he would. And he said no because he believes a partner should have sex before marriage to confirm there is a legitimate intimacy connection.

He told his mom about me and I asked him when he was going to delete his OKC profile during the date because he seemed to like me. And we both deleted our profiles together.

We hung out the next day because it was New Year’s Eve. I asked 1st because I thought he would want to do something. If I was okay relaxing, he was okay with me coming over and playing video games again.

He says he only believes in titles when it comes time to address a woman to other people. But he said he does consider me his girlfriend because he is only seeing me and we are intimate. But he said if the title is too soon for me, there is no rush. There is no rush for sex either. Am I being played? He says I have nothing to worry about but I don’t trust men 😶.

And I asked him if he was willing to wait and he said no. It’s not apparently only due to his sex drive, he believes a couple should have sex before marriage to confirm there is a strong intimate connection. I asked him how long does he generally wait before he makes someone his girlfriend and he says labels are an external thing (as in how he’d address the person to other people). But he said, he would considered me his girlfriend because he is apparently seeing me exclusively and we are/ were intimate. Is he fucking around with me?
