Being that I am not from the US and I am not sure how serious the issue is but I have the impression it is getting out of hand.

If the issue is actually under control and not as serious, please let me know in the opinion. I can only imagine how terrifying such news must be for parents.

Would you agree for school to have airport security system if no one can agree with gun control? Or do you think it won't change anything?

I’ve been having a boyfriend for a month and I still haven’t told my mom or dad. Even though that I’m 18, my parents still try to have control of every aspect in my life. It’s been like this my whole life. Sometimes I go to my boyfriend’s apartment but I lie and tell my parents that I’m going to my friend’s apartment. I’ve also had sex with him 2 times already.

My parents don’t know about that either and I’m definitely not gonna tell them
that. My mom and dad always have negative things to say. I’ve tried to ask them about dating when I was 18 in high school and they got mad at me and say I’m too young to date a 20 year old.

My current boyfriend is 23. I actually don’t mind the age difference that much but I know my parents will say that he’s too old to be dating me but I am legally an adult. It’s also hard to go on dates because my parents won’t let me drive by myself anywhere or let me get my driver’s license. I think they won’t let me drive alone because they want to have control over me. I used a Lyft last week to go to my bf’s house and they got really mad at me for doing that. They also kept calling me over and over while I was at his apartment.
