So I'm leaving on a big trip to the USA for 6 weeks by myself in a weeks time. This is the first time I've ever travelled without family, and I'll only be with people I know for two weeks, and the rest of it will be alone.

I wanted my parents to come see me off at the airport, and welcome me back, which I didn't think was a big thing. My dad and step mum are happy to drive me up and see me off and pick me up when I come back. But I'm confused, because my mum (biological, and whom I mostly live with) doesn't want to come up. It's her day off and she's not doing anything, it's not at an unreasonable hour (my flights at 11am) and the airport is only an hours drive away. She said she doesn't see the point in going up if my dad's going to drive me up, and that she doesn't want to go, and she's mad at me for making her feel guilty because I want her to go. I even said well what about if you pick me up from the airport when I come back? She said that's ok, but then I was like, well dad's probably going to drive up anyway, cause I know he wants to welcome me back (and he confirmed this, he said he'd still come up to see me at the airport even if he didn't drive me home) and she was like... Well if he's going to be there then he may as well just take you home, I don't need to be there.

My parents have been divorced since I was 18months old (I'm 21) and she has no problems with my dad (a bit if awkwardness between her and my step mum, but they all still came to my graduation without any problems)

But I'm upset, cause I feel like my mum should want to be there to say goodbye and welcome me back? Am I being unreasonable?

I met a guy from my area online week before last week. Monday we hung out in his dorm watched a movie talked a little then we just made out. I was on an awkward angle so I ended up just straddling him. Which I think sent the wrong message. Things got really heated and clothing started to come off. Before long he was taking my underwear off and pulling his down. I was kinda shocked at his confidence as this was his first time getting even remotely this close to sex. I wanted to and we did.

The next day we hung out and did it again. But this time I felt bad, guilty even.. I felt like I was being used for sex. He walked me to course which was making me worry more because he wasn't trying to hold my hand. At times it must've seemed like we were complete strangers.

I talked to him about everything and how I was feeling and how him asking if we were a thing made me feel like shit. He told me how he didn't want to scare me away and that we can take a break from sex go on a real date.
Which is What we did yesterday. He took me on a picnic at the botanic gardens. It was very cute. (By this time we had decided that not having sex was going to be impossible) so we went back to his after we had stuffed our faces and began making out. We had sex twice because we said we wanted it to be a romantic evening but the first time we got caught up in the heat of the moment and went quite rough. But the second time was very romantic.

We talked and sung and had a tickle fight after. (Well he tickled me) and I stole one of his shirts. He held my hand and kissed me in public even though he's not keen on pda.
I still feel wrong about the sex because of the fact I don't love him. But I know one day when I do it will make the sex that much better.

Plus keeping in mind he was a virgin before meeting me, but he has gotten me the closest to climaxing than my previous partner. Plus now that is all he wants out of sex for me to enjoy it and get off from it.

Giving the circumstances do you think it'll last?

My best friend's ex crush has feelings for me, and I may have something for him as well... she got really bad when she found out that we were feeling certain way about each other. I ended up giving up on him because I love my bff and I can't loose a friendship like ours. It's been 6 months since this whole situation, and she told me she's over him and that I could go for it, if I wanted to. But I DONT KNOW! He is such a nice guy, we used to talk a lot and we had a lot in common. should I go for him? Maybe she is saying it only because she doesn't want to feel guilty for making me and him not go for it. But I know I am a "villain" on the story. (Forgive my English mistakes).
