So this guy is a flatmate of one of my friends. I've seen him a couple of times, and our interactions always feel pretty charged. Like we will 'banter' but it doesn't flow as easily, but not in an 'we have nothing to say to each other' kinda way but almost as if we just don't want to transgress any boundaries. Thats what it feels like to me at least. We usually mock each other, and have a sort of frenemy 'friendship'.
Like, we accidentally saw each other in a bar and he came over and spoke to me the whole time until we both needed to leave.. (my guy friend said that based on our interaction he thought he was into me).
When we were in the cinema together (with group of friends) we sat next to each other and shared a popcorn, and he would like bat my hand away or our hands would touch etc.. but it wasn't obvious so I could be reading into stuff. Then we were talking about older men, and I joked about how all girls love an older guy.
Him: "how old are you?"
Me: I'm 21
Him: I'm 23.
Me: maybe if you have grey hairs I'd consider it.
Him: I've got plenty of them..
or when the movie screen went black before start:
Him : Are you nervous
Me (sarcastically): Yeah...
Him: First time?
I laughed
On the walk home we either had a very charged silence, or had mini arguments where one of us would deride the other. He walked with me pretty much the whole time. Or he like overtook me on the steps and was right in front of me, so I stepped on his shoe, and he then pretended to shove me down the stairs. He also then proceeded to make some sexual jokes. At the flat I put a pillow between us on the couch (in 'protest') and he was like 'stop being silly" and moved the pillow out the way and continued mocking me. Like I'm not sure if thats just him getting his angsty release or if he likes me?

Because I would think that he likes me, but he isn't adding me on anything fb/insta etc.. It might be because his flatmate could be weird about him getting with his friends? Idkkkk help

So my current boyfriend and I dated for 8 months, then broke up for 3 months. During that time I got a new boyfriend and he had a rebound. Yet we got back together.

Since then I told him I wasn’t comfortable with him being close to the girl he slept with while we were broken up because she wanted a relationship from him when he did not, she blocked me on all social media and she just shit talks me to anyone who’d listen. While they had their thing, she also demanded he never speak to me and tried to force him to delete pictures of me and throw my stuff away. He kept everything, but still didn’t speak to me until he went back home and was away from her. I’ve never met the girl but I think it’s childish she hates me just because I’m dating my boyfriend. He stopped talking to her and focused on me.

My boyfriend said he liked her as a person and felt like a dick for what happened with her, so he eventually wanted to talk to her again. I told him to give us time because our relationship is still kind of rocky and needs stability and this would cause issues. Two days ago, I brought up again how the idea of them being close friends makes me uncomfortable and disrespected. Then he admits that he’s been talking to her on occasion for two weeks now and sometimes they even FaceTime. I was heartbroken. I asked him maybe 6 days ago if they were talking and he lied. He’s been hiding the truth from me this whole time while I thought things were great. He lied to me so easily.

He says he didn’t want to upset me by telling me they were talking again and was trying to “protect” me. He says he is very sorry and would never do it again. He always avoids conflict and let’s it get out of hand.

Ultimately, I feel betrayed, I don’t trust him like I used to and I feel like she is more important to him than I am. Should I break up with him or not?
