So im not a smoker but my boyfriend and his family are. When it comes to just my partner smoking when its just the two of us he's pretty good with it, i stay my distance he stays away from me/ sometimes ask if he can smoke and he doesn't smoke as much.

When it comes to being over to his house , they've opened windows and have fans going.. its a small place. Its hard for me to leave the situation when they are talking to me mid conversation and they light one up. Even when im not in the same room as they are sometimes i still smell it really badly. I dont like the smell of it/ hard to breathe sometimes.

Im not trying to change him or his family but i personally think the person shouldn't be smoking infront of a non smoker especially in a small place. Find ways around it. It just seems like the family isn't trying hard enough. I dont want to end the relationship because of this.

For the last 5 weeks we’ve been texting every day for hours and we get along very well, have the same sense of humor and we want to meet up. But he is still in touch with his ex and she’s staying at his place for the next 4 weeks. They broke up because she moved 800 km away from his place and they’re still friends. I feel like they might still have feelings for each other. But at the same time I really like him, he’s a genuinely good guy and he would never want to hurt me or her. I know it’s probably me who’s gonna get hurt but should I stay in touch with him the next 4 weeks to see what happens? Or should I just say goodbye at this point and save me the trouble. I really like him but I don’t know what to do.
