Search Results: what hurts the most after a break up

Basically, I just haven't been well lately and have been pretty ill in the past. I often worry about my future due to illnesses. Right now I'm waiting blood results for some potential diseases.

Anyway, I guess I'm asking because my ex was my best friend. Things were rocky with us because I wouldn't commit to the guy as a girlfriend and didn't give my all to him. I treated him kinda like a door mat? And acted as if our relationship was nothing. (I have my reasons, and I know that doesn't excuse my poor treatment of him). I did it partly because I was scared we'd get too close and he'd hurt me.

Either way it ended badly. He'd given his all to me, even wanted to call me his wife someday. And I had really mucked up. He couldn't take it anymore, I couldn't see my mistakes either, so he left. He was so angry. For months.

It's a year past now, and we're not exactly in each other's lives now. To my knowledge he's had a drunken kiss with one girl, once. A whole year after our break up. He's be exactly warm towards me, but he is pretty civil at least most of the time.

I just wonder if I should ever bring up about being unwell or not, basically for the sake of regrets. Then again I think, maybe he wouldn't wanna know about my health anyway. What do you think?
