I literally just started dating this guy but he’s been a bit stingy when it comes to paying for stuff and seems to only want to do things if it’s free or involves me going to his apartment.

He has had a great job so money isn’t an issue.

Our first meal out and he wanted to split the bill. Needless to say it made me feel completely crappy so I told him. He didn’t make me feel special, in fact quite the opposite.

Now he's calling, saying he’s not like that, that he didn’t think until after and that I’m great. He also sent a voice clip at 2am.

What should I do?

So there’s Halloween party this Friday that my friends and I have been eyeing up all month. There’s also costume contest. It’s a 90s/00s throwback party. I lost my job last week (they eliminated the position) and my final paycheck was only $227. I am copying a 90s pop singer and bought stuff on amazon to make parts for a costume that was $107 on amazon which comes tomorrow. I also bought a wig last night that was $16 and is expected to arrive within 3-5 days. I can’t get a refund or cancel the order. I found the same wig for $13 with free 2 day shipping. I have $104 in my bank account right now. I also already spent $70 on a previous costume but I decided last minute I wanted to be something else which is why I bought this. I’m not sure if I should buy the other wig (guaranteed to have it) or wait and see if it shows up (can’t wear the costume without the wig, completely different hair color and style). The tracking just says pre shipment. I also have yet to pay my phone bill for this upcoming month which is usually $60 and it’s about to expire. And yeah my parents are mad that I wasted money on another costume (they don’t know exactly how much, if they did they would flip but they aren’t happy) but yeah I’m also looking for another job too because I owe them $300 for this months car payment which I don’t have.
