Search Results: how exactly do you talk to girls

So there's this girl from my high school, who I have had a crush on for almost a solid year... school for me started on August 14, and will end on May 30. I've had a crush on her every since like the 2nd week of school, and it hasn't worn off till now.

Why do I have a crush on her? For beginners, she's cute. She also has a pretty good sense of fashion. But beyond that, she also seems rather kind and polite, and like a fun, outgoing person, who can be a bit silly at times, but knows how to take things seriously, and she seems hard working. Of course, this isn't necessarily law, as I have never really interacted with her... but from my observations, it seems true.

But I'm afraid I don't have anything to offer her... at school, I'm just a quiet guy with no friends, who eats lunch alone everyday. And in my personal life... all I really do is study and watch shows I like. Even on Facebook I only have like 10 friends.

She on the other hand as 126 friends on Facebook, and she has a ton of followers on Twitter and Instagram. And she posts pictures of her and her friends hanging out together very often.

And as much as society likes to believe it... opposites don't attract.


But unlike most crushes of this sort, she at least notices me, and knows I exist. She has said my name before, and knows who I am/what I look like... so there's that. One day she even held the door for me and smiled sweetly... but I was so nervous I forgot to thank her.

And while I'm not good at talking to people, I am admittedly a pretty good writer... so the best chance I have is to send her a friend request, and see if we can talk together online and such.

Now my worst fear is not that she declines... but that she goes to all her friends and says, "Omg, that super creepy quiet guy (my name) just tried to add me on Facebook! Just ew!" And then word spreads all around campus.

She doesn't seem like THAT type of girl... but I don't exactly know anything about her.
