Search Results: how to be attractive attractiveness

I had been occasionally working in a local civic group with this guy. Our contact and communication was limited to the group setting. I became interested in him and eventually checked records that he is unmarried, and single according to his social media. I messaged him requesting to meet up outside the group in a platonic/friendly manner. He did not reply. A few weeks later I messaged again, but this time gave him some background because I thought maybe he ignored my first message thinking I was married -- so I mentioned I was separated from my husband who had a personal crisis and left me last year, and was really just wanting new friends I might better relate to and have common interests with, and thought of him. But then he ignored this second message as well. Also, on one social media site we are still connected but he won't message me back. On another social media site he rejected the connection invitation. I'm just now being pursued by a few new guys... one seems extremely interested, but they are not nearly as attractive to me (physically and background-wise) as this first guy who I've had my eye on for some time now. Obviously this guy is not interested at the moment, but should I wait? Do anything else? I don't understand the lack of interest and ignoring the messages, not even a "thanks but no thanks." I can tell you it's not for my lack of attractiveness or desirability, as I get excellent feedback from many others on this. What should I do?
