He's everything that you need in a boyfriend except for the fact that he always gives excuses when it comes to commitment. For example, he was to propose to me on the day we had decided, my birthday. The entire day passes by, and there was no mention of the proposal. I asked him the next day. He said he went to buy a ring but he was so scared I won't like any of his choices so came back empty handed. Although he knows that I don't care about the ring so much, I said that I understand, and I will be happy to go with him shopping for the ring. Fast forward today, 3 months later, he has not yet asked me to go for ring shopping. I m still waiting.

I am tired of his excuses, first his job, then his health, then his Visa, then his family... excuses excuses excuses. Why won't he just straight-up tell me that he does not want to marry me. That way I'll be able to set myself free. Even I do not like to keep forcing him. But we are not getting younger any day. He's 37 and I'm 35 and we need to get our lives going.
