So these wireless earbuds actually have improved microphones, both facing inside and outside from your ear, that are capable of picking up sound from around you and playing it back with minimal delay so you can hear your surroundings. That’s technically called “transparency mode”. Honestly, it’s interesting to learn more about this feature.

Thing is, you can set them to amplify the quietest sounds and be able to hear much quieter things. I know this setting is for people with poor hearing, but that setting’s what just sounds so cool to me :) but using them like a spy tool, in a way? Should I maybe tell people I’m wearing them or not have the AirPods amplify quiet things, or what? XD

For your info, I have somewhat long-ish medium hair length, about 3 inches from touching my shoulders, so it’ll cover my ears, and the AirPods, as I’m wearing them. Hahah. I’m like a spy with invisible gadgets that way. And no, you may not tell me what to do with my hair, lol.
