I have a new job and a few days ago some partners (2 men and 2 women, let's call one of the men John) found out that I'm single and that I have no intention of marrying ever. Since then, they've been joking and saying that they're going to look for a boyfriend for me.

Today they said that John was going to take me to the dark side. I didn't really understand that but I thought they meant that he was going to get me a boyfriend and I answerd "sure", but it was obvious for my tone that I meant "no way". John said something like: "Yes, I am". And then one of the women said: "he would, if he wasn't married".

They kept on joking but John talked less than usually.

Now my question is: what did they mean by taking me to the dark side? Do you think that he may have some kind of interest in me? Maybe he finds me attractive or pretty and said something to the other ones and they were trying to tease him?
I don't know what to think but I don't want my partners to think that any of them have some kind of opportunity with me, they already know that I don't want to get married but they may think that they could get a one-night stand with me and I don't want them to think anything like that.

I was just reading a story about man that admitted to cheating on his wife with 11 women within a period of 2 1/2 years into their marriage.

Before getting married, he would sleep around during his teen years and cheated on every single relationship except the last one (an ex girlfriend before meeting his wife). His count was ranging between 60-80 women by the time he was in his 20's. My aunt was having the same issue too. She accepted his high past, only to get cheated on the 4th year of their marriage. She divorced him and is now currently involved with a reserved, Christian man that has her same low past.

What sometimes annoys me is that several sites (even studies done with a graph) seem to focus on only promiscuous women and how they're likely to cheat or have bonding issues. Most men seem to be smarter not to get involved with a woman with a high past but nothing really is talked too much about men with that past.

Personally, I think there is something not normal with anyone (man or woman) that wants sex every single day with different people.
