My boyfriend and I live hours away we haven’t seen each other in over 2 months. We had broke up for a bit but got back together and plan on seeing each other soon. Problem is he doesn’t have a job right now , and he says he’s been looking but I feel like not enough. I have a job and my own money but I’m saving for a car, which is thousands. it’s a turn off that he doesn’t have a job but I try to be understanding. It also keeps us from seeing each other as much. He says he won t have enough money to do stuff with me like take me out and such and I always try to offer my own money But he doesn’t want that. He’s always been the one to take me out and spend his money on me... so I guess he would feel less of a man if I’d have to pay for everything if we go out. But am I wrong for feeling like he’s not actually trying. He lives with his best friend so he’s never gonna get kicked out. He’s been smoking and everything... I don't know but it frustrates me knowing he’s not trying to work or do shit for himself

In my country, men and women are segregated since childhood.
We are not allowed to have friends of the opposite gender and are not supposed to talk to the opposite gender unless necessary.
Some people say that men and women have different interests and therefore they would not be able to be good friends. Besides, those friendships can lead to awkward and embarrassing moments like guy accidently touching the girl's... breasts. They say men and women have different toilets, don't they? There is no need to have friends of the opposite gender.

I think that these thoughts are ridiculous and I feel that genders should not be segregated...
Because of the segregation, we are having trouble understanding the opposite gender and many men do not know how to talk to women here... and many men end up being perverted, crazy freaks who think that women are inferior to men... They creep women out online by sending creepy texts and in person too, they creep women out.
