I like this guy and we went out a few times. He says he likes me but he wants me to change somethings about myself, like my style, wear makeup, tight sexy clothes, heels, and eyelashes, be more outgoing (I have a shy personality) I told him I’ll try, but I’m not sure if I want to.

I'm going to be 19 soon and yes I graduated high school and in the process of trying to get a job but I still let my parents say what I can and can't wear.

For example I wanted to wear my hair curly and get my hair done in a Afro or curls but I know they are not a fan of that so I wear straight hair down all the time. I also dress kinda like a guy and I wanted to change the way I dressed but I never do because I always allowed my parents to tell me what to wear or choose my outfits. Now that I basically have money to choose my own things ( plasma donation money) I still never do it because I don't think my parents would approve of me changing how I dress and they told me how to dress already. It just feels weird choosing my own clothes and going out without making sure mom approves of the outfit I'm wearing. I always wear jeans and sweat pants and that's what my parents like so I do it. I wanted to choose my own styles and do more on my own but I never really did because I knew they wouldn't like it but I'm an adult now but I feel wrong for basically wanting to do my own thing...
