I get that women have reported their abuse FAR more than the men but still. I'm very curious.

to abuse (physical, mental, etc.) the men that have never done wrong to them?

I'm just wondering. Obviously, we all frown upon a man who hurts a woman in any sense but socially speaking, women tend to get free passes to do what the society hated some men for. Now don't get me wrong, I have absolutely no respect for scumbag assholes who beat women that have done nothing but good to them just to have control over them but why should women get free legal and social passes to do the same to men? Why lower yourselves down to these abusive scumbag assholes levels?

I'm surprised how saying this "offends" people, when it's really true.

1- Stats say they get 40% lower sentences than men for the same charge. In addition, they get lesser charges for the same crime (man gets murder charge, woman gets manslaughter charge, "it's cause I was abused your honor!"). So the actual inequality in sentencing is far more than 40%.

2- If they're pregnant they get to say whether they keep the child or kill it. Man gets no say, and if he never wanted the child he still has to pay child support, even in the cases he turns out not to be the father, otherwise he goes off to jail.

3- Stats say they commit 70% of domestic violence, but they're the only ones with DV shelters and support groups, and they're the only side the police and courts listen to when there's a disturbance.

4- After divorces, the courts almost always give them custody of their kids while giving the father the alimony and child support checks to pay.

5- They are allowed to serve in the military if they wish to, but are never forced into the military like men are.

6- They get special treatment in the media like they're infants, anyone who insults a woman is signing his social death. e. g: Guy says a woman is unstable cause of her period "Misogynyst! Lynch him!". Guy get his dick cut off by a woman "Hilllarrrrious! You go girl!"

7- They get away with complaining about a wage gap which every person with half a brain knows is a myth based on false statistics that compare wages which are not for the same job.

8- Rape has become the crime with the highest conviction rate, due to the feminist lobbies forcing authorities and courts to consider men accused of rape as guilty until proven innocent, as well as giving immunity to false rape accusers due to the perceived fear that not doing so "could prevent women from coming forward".

My father is physically and emotionally abusive. He threatens almost all the time when I assert myself that he will kick me out of the house. Now, I have been to a police station and they said they would help me and arrest him if I wanted them to. Should I proceed with this if he persists with this kind of behaviour towards me?

These two crimes tend to go under-reported in the US, especially s3xual assault. All of us should know that statistics base their facts on strictly the REPORTED crimes that they've gathered. R@pe/S3xual Assault is often one of, if not, the least reported crime in America. Every one of us already knows that the vast majority of r@pe crimes are reported by women. But hold it right there! There has be a lot of studies saying that while the majority of victims are women, men are FAR less likely to ever report their s3xual assault and/or domestic violence.

Now, this is not to say that there are more male victims than females but to say that we need to be more aware of these many factors and stop revolving every single thing strictly on women all the time. Men need to start having their true voice on this issue an stop giving a shit about what society thinks of them and their manhood. Men also need to stop blaming all of the gender standards that they're still suffering up to this very day on women (when they've created all of the gender double standards on themselves and shoved it down on both men and women's throats) behind the computers and actually start speaking up and doing something about it.

Just curious. It seems to be mainly in the US where the gender roles are slowly not being imposed as much anymore and the fact that more men are now slowly coming forward for their own abuses. In other countries, the male victims of r@pe and domestic violence get either ridiculed with absolutely no law enforcements doing anything about it all, get strictly ridiculed by peers and even beaten and killed for being "too weak of a man".

See where I'm going with this stupidity? As a Non-White Male, I don't see why people have to constantly create and perpetuate double standards against everyone and divide all of us so much to creat more tense hatred between all of us.
