I don't know, this is so confusing. In real life, she avoids having eye contact with me, and looks at the other direction when I’m near her. When other guys talk to her, she would have eye contact with them and usually smiles. However, she didn’t do the same when I talked to her the first time (and I’ve never reached out to her in real life after that). When texting, even tho her replies may be short (her replies are usually short according to her close friends), they aren’t dry. I don't know, this is so confusing. I don't know if she’s interested or nah.. please help!!🙏🏻

The way she is towards me hasn’t changed. I just thought about it more now that I’ve developed a crush on her.

reasons I thought she liked me
- she was always next to or near me in groups
- she’s more likely to go to something if I go
- she can spend an entire day mostly talking to me even if we’re in a large group of friends
- I felt like she liked me
- mutual friends think she likes me
- she generally talks to me in groups and tries to get my attention if I’m not paying attention especially if I’m talking to other girls.
- if we go to order drinks at the bar at a group gathering, she’ll wait for me rather than going straight back to the group.

reasons I now don’t think she likes me after I thought about it
- she hasn’t touched me or flirted with me. Most we ever do is make prolonged eye contact and even that she’ll sometimes look away or just blush.
- she has in the past distanced herself from me in groups by sitting further away from me and talking to me from a distance within the group.
- she blushes if others say something like “oh thanks for coming to the party and you even brought her along”.
- she’ll sometimes walk faster if we’re walking together.
- she doesn’t show the typical signs of romantic interest. She obviously enjoys being around me but probably in a close platonic way.
