Wham! Were very popular , on both sides of da atlantic…even if they were short-lived (they existed only 5 years), they made it really big! After their break-up George Michael followed a successful solo career. My personal fav would “Music From The Edge Of Heaven” coz it had 2 of my fav ballads,”Last Christmas”, and “Where Did Your Heart Go?”…didn’t lke his solo album “Faith” much tbh.

Paul Young was another British singer, who was kinda similar with Wham/George Michael…coz he released only 3 albums, during 80s…. i couldn’t make a separate poll just 4 him….. i included him here ^_^

No Parlez, is my fav by him…and his cover of Joy Division’s “Love Will Tear Us Apart” is fantastic…. probably da best cover of this song :D and of course…..“Ku Ku Kurama” soooo danceable…yay \O/…. and “sex”…. a sexy song 8)

All of these bands were fronted by Terry Hall (except AKA The Special, but still they were just a renamed version of The Specials…. so… )

The Specials/AKA The Special were a Ska/2-Tone band with “Ghost Town” being their most popular song basically…although this 1 was more reggae-ish than ska. Ma fav album by them would b their debut (although it was a 1979 album) but unfortunately it wasn’t as good as Madness’ debut album “One Step Beyond” though… :-/

Fun Boy Three were a new wave/reggae band with some gothic influences…in some of their songs they sounded very similar with The Cure…like 4 example in their most popular song “Tunnel Of Love” basically. Waiting would b ma fav album by them…and other songs I liked from this album would b “The More I See” and “Things We Do” ^_^

And The Colourfield (my personal fav among Terry Hall’s projects) were an indie pop/dream pop band and it was da band that pretty much defined Terry Hall’s solo works in 90s (in his album “Home” mostly)…”Thinking Of You” and “Castles In The Air” were da most popular songs of this project, and “Virgins and Philistines” would b ma fav album by them, and other songs that I liked would b “Hammond Song”,”Armchair Theatre”, and “Take” basically…. also they had 2 very good post-punk songs as well…. non-album single “The Colourfield” and b-side of “Thinking Of You” called “My Wild Flame”8)

Hue and Cry & Love and Money were Scottish pop bands with jazz/soul influences basically…although I didn’t like Hue and Cry much tbh.. they were very “jazzy” and not so popish 4 ma taste….

Goodbye Mr. MacKenzie on the other hand were an alternative rock band…. although it had nothing 2 do with Billy MacKenzie from Assiociates basically

My fav would b from Love and Money among this list…. particularly the song “Cheeseburger” mostly…not only is a gr8 song.. but it has a hell-of-a-title :-P

Altered Images were sure 1 of the best new-wave acts with a female vocalist basically

Sure Clare Grogan’s vocals maybe sounded kinda “cheesy” or “girly” but truth is it worked fine with their music. Strangely they managed 2 have some success in New Zealand according 2 wikipedia!

My favorite record by them would b “Bite”…it had so many catchy pop tunes, featuring the singles “Bring Me Closer” and “Don’t Talk To Me About Love”…. but my pick would be “Bring Me Closer”…. especially the extended Dance Mix…. is sooooooo damn sexy!

The Associates were another new wave band of that era, featuring a darker and more experimental sound though…my personal favs would b “4th Drawer Down” (“Tell Me Easter’s On Friday” would b my fav song from this…an underrated post-punk classic…”Kitchen Person” and “Q Quarters” were very good as well)…or the more experimental “Sulk” featuring their biggest hit “Party Fears 2”

Phineas and Ferb was one of my favorite childhood shows, and I still watch it today! Isabella is my favorite character! And the songs are so clever! My favorite song is City of Love :D

Who cares if I'm an adult? I will always be a fan of Phineas and Ferb <3
