Now, I don't have him on Facebook, but my best friend still does for some reason, so she can see what he posts.

For instance, he'll post about how 'great it is to be going on holiday from work and start drinking so early on before heading to a party' that exact same day, I ran into him and he started banging on about how he 'really couldn't be bothered with the party' and how he 'wouldn't enjoy himself' despite posting that on his Facebook.

Other instances are, he'll clearly exhibit interest in this girl over Facebook eg liking get pictures and statuses. But then, when I ask if he's moved on he'll get angry and go 'there is no girl 😡' despite the fact my friend can see him liking all these things on social media.

As for holidays, he will always just tell me 'how bored he was' and how he 'did literally nothing' apart from see a few friends when I know for a fact he's likely been up to much more.

Just don't get what's with the dishonesty? He was never like this before.

Now I could be wrong, and I'd love to think 'he tells such truth' and all. But I just can't. He said he wanted to be friendly? And since I have a few feelings spare, I've wanted him to just be honest with me in order to be able to have a friendship.

Anyway, the lines got blurred. He started flirting with me (which friends shouldn't do, of course). And it bothered me. A lot. We were either friends or a couple, nothing in between.

Since he was being flirty with me, I asked if he had moved on with another girl/was interested in anyone on a few occasions and he'd always scoff at me or get angry at me for suggesting it. I guess his flirty behaviour with me made me question where I stood with him.

Anyway, my friend brought me to light on his recent Instagram likes. And there's been a certain girl who he's been liking a lot of pictures of. Including a snippet of a conversation where he compliments her eyes as being 'dark and smoky like her soul'

Naturally, this seems to me like he's interested in someone new. And I've gave him a million opportunities to admit it to me. All I wanted was the truth, so why is he blatantly lying? I can't have a friendship with someone like this.

This instagram also posted: and he liked it. So yeah, am I right in calling him a liar here? I'm so sick of it.
