E-met a very attractive guy on a dating site (over35 yo). We seem perfect for each other and match as far as our looks are concerned. He has been divorced for 5 years but shared with me on a phone call that he still does not know why she left him and it was obvious that he still has at least SOME feelings for her that have not had any closure.

We talked for a couple hours and he told me both times I asked if he needed to be doing something else "you're fine". We hung up when he had to tend to his teenage son (very attached to him). He didn't return the call... a whole day passed and nothing. However, I was fully aware that he had his son and wanted to watch a certain ballgame that day too.

The following day, I was on the dating site and he logged in too a bit later. I waited for a while (about 40 minutes to an hour) then sent him a nice message that was a apology if I had worn out my welcome by keeping him on the phone two days prior while his son was there. Nothing more than that... and certainly not any indication that i felt one way or the another. Just a simple one line message.

Keep in mind, we exchanged phone numbers two days prior as well. His reply to me was "you're fine, I just had my son... I do not get time with him often... no worries."
We texted some small talk and he said he was going to go to bed and asked what I was planning to do. I relied that I was going to stay up and watch the National Championship football game but ended my comment with "if you want to meet and talk instead of talking on this silly thing (dating site message utility) you have my number." Told him Good Night.

One other thing to note - he told me his mom set up his profile because she keeps telling him he needs to find someone. He does log in often though. He has never initiated anything first... always me. I am the one who originally said something to him in the first place.

So... is he shy, just not that into me, or just still hung up on her?

Me and my boyfriend have been going out for a rise and he is falling more and more in love with me and I'm falling apart from him. When we started dating he was in college playing football since then he has dropped or if college and he doesn't want to play football because he doesn't think he's good enough for pro but I just want him to try. He couldn't get a job because of football but he hasn't even tried getting a job done then he has applied to two jobs and that's only because I made him! Everyday I saw him he was playing the Xbox live it's his job. He broke his car so we don't go on dates unless it's a double date and I pay because he doesn't have a job. (As stated) then he told me he has no money to get me a gift for Christmas or or anniversary I haven't really talked to him because but I'm tired of being broke and having to take care of him like a baby. The jobs he has filled out I've made his résumé and etc., but his personality is perfect and truly is super sweet with a nice body to match but im him tired of feeling like a wife and mom. I want to take care of myself and let him get himself together... am I wrong, should I breakup with him?
