I know that a guy likes me. This is just a situation that I've noticed. Most of the time he is being nice to everyone. At least when I'm around. When it was new year eve I saw him walking away from something. He didn't notice me. A girl said hi and he didn't seem to be in the mood. He just said hi and walked away but normal he would be talkative. I wanted to say something but he didn't seem in the mood. Later in the evening I heard guys talking behind my back. It were the same guys every time and suddenly I heard them say "I don't even know what he sees in her. she is so petite and difficult." I looked offended and they just stared at me. What was that for? Later I saw one of his friends he looked troubled at me and then walked in his direction.

I had the misfortune of winding up with breast cancer at just 18 years old and had to get a double mastectomy. Ever since then, I've felt more like a little girl than a woman and it just depresses me. Now, at 22, I've finally saved up enough to get breast implants (insurance isn't going to pay for any of it, I've already checked). The problem is, the surgeon says that because I'm so petite and have so little room left, I'll have to get saline implants and slowly get those expanded before my tissue is stretched enough to accommodate more natural looking implants. Even though I'm decent looking otherwise, I haven't had a boyfriend since my mastectomy, as it totally destroyed my confidence. I'm just wondering whether anyone will even want to date me once I've had the implants since they are going to look so fake? Any advice?

I have been close with this guy for a few months. We are both really bad at showing emotions, so we haven't actually talked about our feelings. However, we have had a few moments where it is clear that he really cares about me, whether it is as a friend or otherwise.

Then, we went to a party together and were really drunk. Earlier in the evening, a guy I had been with before pulled me aside to talk while I was hanging out with this friend. I told the guy we weren't going to be together again, and while we were talking this other girl was all over my friend, but he didn't let it happen. He and I left together to go to another party, and I thought we were going to bring other people, but he didn't tell anyone where we were going. He walked me home after the party, and was telling me about how the girl was all over him, and as soon as I mentioned how I told the other guy that I wasn't interested he stopped talking about her. Then he mentioned that he had made a rule with himself to not date anyone in our grad school class for the first year because they were his classmates, but sometimes that has been really hard. Then when he dropped me off at my apartment, we kind of just stood and looked at each other for a few seconds before I went inside alone.

I know his comment could've been about the other girl, however, she never hangs out with us, so I don't know why he would've said that it has been difficult to not date anyone in regards to her. Plus, he has no issues with people touching him when he's drunk except me. He won't let me hug him or anything, but other people he will allow to do that. Although that could be because he is repulsed by me.

I should note, that he is very classically attractive. I am overweight, and people say that I'm pretty, but I don't know how much I believe them. The other girl is blonde and petite, but he told me that he doesn't like how pushy she is.

I jus wanna what is exact definable of beauty. I dont feel myself beautiful. I used to feel beautiful actually. I was very confident back then. People used to say I have very attractive personality like everyone jus wanna be around me. I have medium brown skin. I'm 5 feet. I have long hair till my butt. I'm not petite. I have nice chest and back. but my boyfriend thinks I'm not beautiful. According to him lighter skin is beauty. Every girl with lighter skin is beautiful. Since then I consider myself a ugly person. I dont wanna get ready because my mind says you gonna look ugly anyway. I dont know what to do. I dont know makeup n all that. I jus use natural makeup. But i have stopped admiring myself. Whenever i see mirror I'll be like damn! I'm ugly. Can someone tell me what is beauty?
