3 days later- He later texted me and said:
“Dear Omneya
I’ve been sitting here thinking about all the things I wanted to apologize to you for. All the pain we caused each other. Everything I put on you. Everything I needed you to be or needed you to say. I’m sorry for that. I’ll always love you and you helped make me who I am. I just wanted you to know there will be a piece of you in me always, and I’m grateful for that. Whatever someone you become, and wherever you are in the world, I’m sending you love. You will always be part of my life
Love you forever and will always do🌍❤.”

Does that mean he regrets losing me? Should I text back?
It was so intense when he dumped me. He never respected me, and had a big ego. He gave out his bare minimum in the relationship. And never fully loved me. I was also toxic, I always pleased him and questioned his love for me. I was also dramatic to him (but I just did things straight from my heart. I felt it all unlike himself).
And when I stopped talking he waited 2 weeks to care to ask, and then I failed to tell him what he had done because I was hurt and was afraid to hurt him, so he dumped me... I felt bad for not giving him closure but he knows he repeatedly fucked me over when I gave it my all with him...

So basically there was four of us hanging out two guys and two girls. The girl is one of my closest friends. Before I talk about the incident let me give you some background information. The previous weekend I had gone out and I had been drinking and I slept over a one of my guy friends house but we didn’t do anything besides sleeping. He had tried to but I didn’t want to. Now back to the hangout. We were all there and mind you these 2 guys don’t know about me sleeping over at his house. My friend also knows that they don’t know. She then decides to bring it up and I got super uncomfortable because she starts saying how they were talking and apparently he said I tried to kiss him and I wanted to do things with him but he rejected me and she was laughing about it. The thing is he never told me anything about this and so I got confused and just asked her to stop cause I don’t really talk to the two guys there (she’s closer to them) and I felt that this is something she should’ve told me by myself. I was trying to defend myself and she just kept talking over me and laughing saying how it’s so funny that the 2 sides of the story or completely different. Even one of her friends told her to stop cause it was too much already. I texted him about it and he texted her and she got mad saying I shouldn’t have told him anything. Then we were fine. I didn’t even get to talk to him so the next day I texted him to actually ask him about what he had told her and so I’m texting him and I get a message from her saying how i’m so stupid and because of me she lost a friendship with him. I just told her that of course I was gonna text him because it’s my situation and I wanna know what else he said. She then said that nobody cares and I need to get over it and I was too extra and shouldn’t have said anything. I think that I’m in the right because of course I was gonna text him to see what’s up.
