I can count the times on one hand I have “unannounced” friend zoned a girl. That is it was plain as day she wanted me but I didn’t feel the same way. But I was nice to her because I liked her and didn’t want to crush her feelings with outright rejecting her.

But in hindsight I know that not speaking up is the worse thing you can do to someone. In the last 10 years I have explicitly yet tactfully told a few women that I wasn’t interested but I respected them so I was being honest. I also make sure to say this early to avoid them getting their hopes up. I do this because this is how I WISH I was treated in my youth. Most women are horrible at how they friendzone guys.

But anyway there were a few girls in college I probably could of dated if I was so picky about things. I remember I liked a girl in my finance class and she definitely liked me. But she one day road to class with a long board. I got this stupid stereotype stuck in my head that she was a “skater chic” and after that I didn’t give her any more romantic attention. Just said a quick hi and even I turned down a opportunity when she asked me to hang out one time. I regret that. She might of been very awesome in other ways. She was cute.

I remember getting in my first big age gap relationship at 28. I was dating a 20 year old. It was a weird combination of excitement, fear of judgment, concern about maturity and yet youthful fun and vigor. I was also the oldest guy she ever dated too. That one didn’t work out. She was very immature and a freeloader. I also sometimes acted purposely immature out of fear of looking too boring/old. There is a playful way to do that but you need to switch it off fast in when you are expected to be an adult. Not always easy to switch.

I’ve been in 3 other age gap relationships. Biggest gap was 34 and 21. That was doomed to fail from the start but we had a ton of fun while it lasted. She ghosted me after 9 months and I was surprised it lasted that long. The ghosting still hurt and was complete bullshit. But I knew that risk came with the territory.

I’m not opposed to dating women my age. As long their relatively attractive and have a positive attitude I’ll give it a shot. But here are the challenges:

- They are far fewer single women my age.
- They are usually divorced and/or have kids. Not a dealbreaker but it definitely complicates things.
- I also noticed single women my age forget how to be fun. I briefly dated a woman a year older than me and I was shocked/pissed off that she thinks it still okay to shit test men on sexual stuff. She lead me on and changed her mind at the last second. A grown ass woman should know better than that.
- If I want to get serious with one than having kids could be a bigger challenge.
- Some older single women are just mentally unstable. I know that same standard could be applied to me. But as a man nobody is taking a knee to propose to me in marriage. Being single at my age has much different ramifications (and bad stereotypes) as a man vs. a woman.

• On one hand, his motivation and will are pure for the society, puts others' lives above his. Helps and saves a lot of people.

• On the other hand, he doesn't hesitate to use brutal and torturous force. Willing to go far (except killing) for his goals. Dark, bitter and sometimes unstable personality.

• Is he taking things too far?

• You do see that he is different than the most superheroes and the superhero stereotype it represents.

Recently, I've been thinking a lot of the many harmful stereotypes towards people of the LGBT spectrum, especially when it comes to women. Not only lesbians but also bisexuals, pansexuals, asexual etc. because of their physical appearance, fashion choices and gender identity. Firstly, many queer femme or "feminine-presenting" girls & women are always assumed as "straight, that they only look good to attract men or at least masculine-presenting people, even though femmes can be attracted to other femmes. Never the fact that they feel that they have to come out every day, and when they do, nobody takes them seriously, not by their family & friends, not by straight men who always try to hit on them, not even by other people of the LGBT spectrum.

On the other hand, Butch or "masculine-presenting" queer girls & women also have a problem but different, including the expectations both Lgbt and non-Lgbt people, have (being strong, no emotions, people threatened by them, accused as being either a "man" or "trans" and people telling that they're ugly because they don't fit the stereotypically feminine norm, despite the fact that there's more than one type of femininity and being butch doesn't always mean "masculine". Even women who aren't LGBT and aren't gender-conforming are always assumed, perceived or accused to be lesbians despite the evidence or proof that their not.

To be honest, I'm sick and tired of humans judging certain groups or others by their looks just because of how the media, fiction, books and other forms stereotype them. Humans are supposed to be an "intelligent" species, so when will they learn?

Finally, I would love to see your answers whether or not femmes or butch have it harder.
