Search Results: bad signs

This was an interesting conversation I had on Saturday. If a woman is "racist," or a black person is "homophobic," or a gay man is "sexist," is that worse? (Because they themselves could easily be discriminated against for sex, sexuality, or race, so it can come off a little hypocritical.)

I myself don't think so because people will be people; they are individuals. And most people's discriminatory behaviors are usually for a strong reason. But my friend thinks it is worse and she says women who are racist or homophobic are far more bigoted and appalling than white men who are; not that she is saying white men are "bad." (I think it's implied it's just more common among certain groups of white men, which I can't deny.)
