Here are ten reasons why ideologies are like religions:

1. Both have sacred beliefs, which believers mistake as facts. Equality or democracy are NOT facts. And neither is the existence of God, contrary to what the religious people think.

2. Both HATE and dehumanize. We see lot's of dehumanizing today in politics!

3. Both are Ignorant of different beliefs. Christians know little about Islam, liberals know little about conservatives and conservatives mostly watch right-wing sources of news.

4. Both try desperately to convert non-believers.

5. Both have Messiah/Satan complex. Some some people Trump as a Messiah, others has Satan. Both are demonstrably false. (Obama was considered a messianic figure by some too.)

6. Both lead to irrational thinking, like Trump can't do bad or Trump can't do go good. Obviously, Trump has done good AND bad, but for those who favors ideology, that is hard to grasp.

7. Good or bad person. Some people believe that if you prefer a certainly political ideology, you are a bad person. That is irrational! It's like saying if you don't support a religion, you are a bad person.

8. Indoctrination. Let's brainwash everyone to believe in democracy and equality!

9. Wars! Religion leads to wars. Political ideologies lead to wars. The Civil War, WWII, Vietnam, the Korean War were all wars fought due to different political beliefs!

10. Deception! This one is pretty obvious. Obviously, lots of deception on both sides of the political spectrum, just as priests used to deceive.

Keep in mind, you don't HAVE to follow any political ideology. It's a choice you make. Just as some people aren't religious, some people don't follow ideologies. I think historically, political ideologies emerged in the 1800s, right when religion began to decline. It has been a replacement.

Just look at Stalin, he was very conservative. He made LGBTQ illegal and punished up to five year of hard labor

Stalin also banned abortions in USSR in 1936 and put an emphasis on strong traditional family values. Stalin also made divorces very hard to get

So, Stalin was not very different than today Muslims and Evangelical Christians

Biden should be in prison for sexually assaulting women, and he is plain creepy. Plus, he is more conservative on women rights issues such as abortions. Yet the MeToo Movement is supporting him. Well, Biden is an old white man who loves sexual assaulting women and goes against everything that the MeToo Movement claims to be against.

However, there is a female candidate in the race who is pro-choice, more liberal on LGBTQ issues than Biden is, plays hockey, wants to end the wars (Biden is a Warhawk), wants to end the drug war (Biden wrote the drug law that locked up many people behind bars mostly black people), etc.

From personal life and across the media my vote goes for liberals. It's not uncommon for democrats to try to restrict free speech. Like barricading entrances to prevent people who want to hear speeches given by people like Ben shapiro and Dave ruben. Then calling someone a nazi for having a different opinion.

I'd vote "Other" since I'm a Third Positionist, which means, I have hardcore Right-Wing cultural views and Left-Wing econonomic views. I was influenced by the Russian Orthodox Christian National Patriotism, the Italian Terza Posizione and the French Nouvelle Droite. I recommend that literature to everyone who thinks the dichotomy "Conservatism vs Liberalism" is getting us nowhere.

My most controversial political opinions are the following ones:

. Both Capitalism and Socialism are inherently flawed systems.
. Neoliberalism is the biggest threat to humanity and world peace.
. Modern West = Neoliberalism.
. Liberals/SJW/Woke people are just foot soldiers/useful idiots of Neoliberalism and big corp's.
. There's no such thing as "White Privilege" and "Systemic Racism" in the West.
. I feel more free in Russia and even in China and Iran than I do in every Western country.
. Conservatives and Libertarians and their "limited gov't/low taxes/individualism" takes don't represent me.
