A bit of history on how the question came to be: I have a low key crush on my friend's colleague. We've met a couple of months ago and only know each other on a first-name basis. And then the lockdown started. I know for a fact that he's not on social media and we didn't know each other enough to exchange phone numbers.
Yesterday out of boredom I downloaded tinder, looking to chat with someone new. And boom! I saw him on there. My friends say it's quite unlikely that he would match with me because we know each other and it is embarrassing to match with someone you know in real life. This thought did not cross my mind before, if I like someone and would like to talk to them I would not care if I know them already, the way I see it it's even better I know they're not some random creep catfishing me.
I would like some more opinions on this. Would you swipe right on someone you know in real life?

He called me pretty and stuff he almost beat up a guy for me because he was disrespecting me according to him we haven't spoken in a couple of months because neither of us exchanged numbers ever and we went to different high schools sometimes I stalk his insta through a friends account ((I dont have insta) only snap but he doesn't have snap) ngl but seems like he adds a lot of girls.
