I’ve experienced some real discrimination last week. I was threatened to get kicked out my residence. Turns out the bitch who did this is powerless but I didn’t know that at the time.

This is all stems for bringing up my political views after being put on the spot a month earlier. I calmly stood my ground and actually managed to find a common ground with her one point. I thought things were cool and friendly.

After traveling for a few weeks I came back to the place. For three nights in a row she kept bringing up politics. A subject I really wanted to avoid. Finally she said “Zach if I didn’t know who you were I would have kicked you out for who you voted for in 2016”. She was drunk when she said this.

I confronted her a few days later saying that wasn’t cool (and possibly not even legal). She said she would drop the political comments but didn’t apologize for the threat. I later found out she had no power to do that. I thought the room I was staying (friend rented it to me weekly) was subleased from her. It’s not. My friend got permission from the landlord to rent it out to me.
