If you don't know, Teen Court is a system in which a handful of students are selected from each high school in a county to form a jury that decides how much community service to assign to non-violent, first-time, juvenile offenders. I was one of 5 students recommended by my teachers to represent my high school in Teen Court.

I am conflicted on whether or not Teen Court is worth my time. I was told that it "looks good on a resume", but I don't know how much truth there is to that statement. I just can't see it being particularly beneficial to a student, like me, who is pursuing a career in video game design. If I was an aspiring lawyer, it would be a different story.

I already have perfect As in my few regular classes, and I'm maintaining low As/high Bs in all of my advanced classes. I've yet to take the SAT, and although I'm struggling with mathematics, I'm confident with English and reading (knock on wood). I've taken 3 years of general art, and all of the very few computer classes that my school currently offers. However, my traditional art portfolio is limited, and my digital art portfolio is nonexistent. Certainly expanding them both would be a better use of my time than Teen Court, right?

Please give me your advice, especially if you have personal experience with the Teen Court system. Thanks in advance!

I wanna go to college and take aome English writing class and some art classes.
But i feel like i would be too old im gonna be 22 in November.

Ok so a girl just admitted that she liked me

I had a feeling shd liked me because when school first started she would always sit next to me in this art class & speak to me occasionally
(We are both shy, so there wasn't much communication)
Towards the end of the semester she asked me what class I was going to be in next
I told her algebra because I needed extra
(You can choose an optional class, you earn an extra credit if you complete the class)

She ended up having the same class as me
So it was pretty obvious what happened, but I was so dumb.
Recently one of her friends asked me if I was going to homecoming with anyone
(I said no)
Then she left, I'm guessing that the girl who likes me told her to ask..
Its all starting to make sense..

Thing is, I'd ask her to homecoming, but I'm not very fortunate..
She probably likes me and wants to date me

I've never had a girlfriend & she should probably know that I'm not that fortunate

I mean I'm well off, I have a home,
I eat every night, we have a car
We're well off, but she probably wants a boyfriend that can like drive her to & from home coming, or be able to buy her all typed of things, I can't do that..
I'm not that fortunate, my mom lives on disability & is temporarily doing housework for a rich relative.

Thats the only reason we're well off

Should I tell her?
