This girl and I never dated, and she actually made it abundantly clear that we aren't, nor were we ever a thing. We also never had sex, but there were definitely romantic messages being exchanged. All that being said, this definitely felt like a romantic friendship to me. I haven't been running around telling people that she was my girl, but I did tell people that we were talking (until she made it clear that we were not).

After we went our separate ways, she took it upon herself to tell people that I am creepy and that I was forcing myself on her. She basically tried to destroy my reputation, after I said that I didn't want to just be friends. Destroying someone's reputation and attacking their business feels like something an ex would do... what do y'all think?

Personally, I can't sleep without the TV. It's been like that ever since I was a kid. I don't like being in the dark with no noise. It's creepy. I like to have some kind of noise when I sleep. If I am not listening to the TV to help me sleep, I usually have the radio or some kind of podcast playing in the background. Is anyone else like this?

So I had this girl I was talking to tell me that I was being super creepy and scaring her with my messages. She and I live in different countries, and are about 2500 miles away from each other.

She wouldn't reply to any of my messages super frequently, but she replied more often, and generally favorably to my romantic messages than my platonic ones. When she had negative things to say, she would write me things like "I can't handle romance right now," or "I'm not over my Ex," but then she would also say "But I appreciate all the support, it means a lot." She sent these messages a couple times, but usually it would be about something specific, like "I don't like anyone calling me Cutie Pie."

Through out this last year:

I bought her a birthday gift, and wrote her a romantic birthday/Happy New Years message, which she seemed to giggle at and sent me a blue heart. She told me that I didn't need to buy her a gift (it was a custom made necklace, so I couldn't really return the thing), but I offered it twice, and haven't brought it up since.

But I would, fairly often, write her flirty/romantic messages. I guess I would write them a few times per month, but I made a point of not writing heavy stuff super often. I would rarely write those messages more than once a week.

The messages I was sending were pretty heavy and romantic, and she would always open every message I sent quickly, but she didn't respond super often. Frequently, when she did seem to respond, she would do it through late-night public instagram story updates that directly related to something I had sent her, although sometimes she sent me things directly.

One time she posted a video of her singing a Spanish love song, while wearing full glam makeup, and wearing a red silk negligee, 30 minutes before I get up for work every morning, and she posted it a day after I told her that it would be nice to hear from her, and I had asked several times earlier that month to hear her sing.

Any thoughts?
