I genuinely liked her, and I told her I was falling in love with her. But she cancelled on our dates and ended things over text. I tried to be sincere and nice but I discovered her on tinder. I'm absolutely enraged.

As much as I appreciate your 'honesty' I really wish you just told me you didn't like me instead of how you treated me. I actually liked you and tried to be there for you, but I guess having someone who actually gives a shit about you doesn't matter to you.

I went out with this girl for a bit. She's had some hard things happen, and she told me she thought being around someone more positive like me would help, but she had been involved with some messed up people and even dipped into cocaine at one point.
During our dates, she said she really liked me, and liked how she felt with me. But she cancelled a few dates and sent me this:
hey, so i got my schedule and like i'm just gonna be really busy for the next few days, so I don't know when we'll really find a time that works for both of us... so I thought i'd just message you what I was gonna say... like, I think you're a really great guy, and you're definitely going to make somebody really happy one day, but it just can't be me... i just don't want a relationship right now, or honestly anytime soon.. I really wanna focus on myself for the next few years.. and I just have to be straight up about it.. you're awesome, and if you ever need a friend let me know, but that's all i'm gonna be able to be to you, a friend


I was pretty disappointed, because we were supposed to spend New year's together. But I told her, because I took it as face value, that I hope things change in the future, and we can try again.

I got on tinder to try to meet someone, and I found her on there. Her bio just said she'd looking for people to chill with. But I got instantly pissed off. I feel like she lied to me.
Was she just trying to get rid of me?

I went out with this girl a few months ago. The first three dates were amazing. But then she disappeared. We'd text once in a while but that was it
It wasn't until I wished her a merry Christmas that she started consistently talking to me. We went out the next day, and she said things got dark. After our last date, things got bad at home. She started doing bad drugs and drinking a lot. She got wrapped up with a guy who treated her bad and a bunch of other stuff.
She had gotten sober and moved home the week before we started talking. We had a wonderful time, and she told me it meant so much that I checked on her and I actually care about her. We had sex, and we talked afterwards. She wanted to get her life straight, and I'm something that's stable in her life. I told her I wanted to be with her and to make her happy.
Over the next 5 days, she cancelled 2 dates. Thinking I wasn't going to see her again, I texted her that I wanted to be there for her. I was falling in love with her, and I think she needs someone who treats her like I did. Whether it was with me or not.
She said she wanted to get together to talk. But cancelled again.
She said she was gonna be too busy with work to make our schedules meet. She said I'm a great person, and I'd make someone so happy. But it couldn't be with her. She said she needed to work on herself. She wanted to be single and get her life together. She said maybe we can try again when that time comes.
I apologized for dumping my feelings on her. And said I hope we get another chance. She said she just needs to find who she is.
I don't understand why she didn't tell me sooner. Was she debating letting me go? Was she just trying to avoid it? I'm heartbroken and confused.

I went out on a third date last Thursday. We were supposed to also get together the next day, but she cancelled halfway through the day, saying she needed to go with her sister to an appointment.
She said we could get together Saturday, and also texted me halfway through the day saying she felt sick, would lay down and let me know if we could go out. She never followed up
We texted the other night, and she said we could get together tonight, and she texted me this:

hey, so i still have a really bad cold, add a hangover to that😩 i've been sleeping all day... i'll try to see you on a better day, i'm sorry... I just still feel really sick, it sucks

Is this just an excuse?

I went out with this girl a few times a few months ago and we stopped seeing each other because she saw other people.
After three different relationships, being cheated on, drugged and taken advantage of. She replied to me when I wished her happy holidays.
We went out again, but she delt a massive blow during the date by telling me everything that happened and how many guys she had sex with since the last time I saw her.
It lead to mediocre sex and we had a heart to heart and she said she really liked me. I've treated her better than anyone else has. She promised to not ghost me, but she wanted time to figure herself out after everything that happened.
I told her how much I liked her and what I wanted. She said it low key meant so much because I was the only person who checked on her.
But, I know her. She's wanting to be wild and do her wacky shit. She cancelled our next date, and never got back to me the day of another.
I know she was disappointed with the sex. I'm not the person she normally goes with. I don't drink, never have done drugs and I prefer to stay home than go party.
She acknowledged I'm good for her and I could be something that helps her. But her actions speak different.
At this point, I've given up. I can't play this fucking game anymore.
But will she even acknowledge or care that I've given up?
