My Mexican co-worker was telling me about how it bothers him to see a Mexican flag being flown in his neighborhood on a 20 foot pole. He said that if you did the same with an American flag in Mexico, they'd view it as an attack on Mexico or some form of colonization. He said that the Chinese, Russians, and virtually every other nation would sneer at it or send you to jail for it, and that America is too soft on those people. I recall my neighbor in my previous apartment did the same thing.

The week before Christmas, next week, there'll be the elections of our neighborhood association.
Since my fiancée and I, alongside many other people are generally unhappy with the current Chairman, we want to candidate one of us.
Many friends and neighbors proposed my fiancée, while herself and a some others proposed me.
Honestly I'm indifferent - if one of us wins, the other will still give his/her input.
The only things I'm considering is that
- she seems more popular so she probably wouldn get more votes
- on the other hand, if I get elected I can work on my image and maybe aim at the next Municipal elections (I ran last year as advisor but didn't get enough votes - my list won, but I got excluded)
What do you think?

She said her car was broken into (door was unlocked) and money stolen. Or did she lie and never bring $ for the trip?

I invited her and her kids on a vacation, Id known her for years and we tried to date... friendzoned for 10 years. I just broke up and she was just breaking up and I was looking to see if might work, I enjoyed being with them and gave her all my love. She has a history of issues with men, like using them and not committing. I invited her on weekend vacation to families lakehouse.

She agreed to go late and arrived late at night around midnight, car fully loaded. My neighborhood is very safe, although there are occasional car break ins reported where people go through and take change or gift cards.

They stayed over in spare room and in the morning she got stressed and said she forgot to lock her car and the $500 she brought was taken from the car. She was agitated. In all the fuss of packing and getting the kids stuff together, she brought her purse in but not some separate thing that had money in it. She said she smelled smoke in the car but I never went out to check that.
