Okay so I’m 17 years old and I’ve been in a long distance relationship for 2 months. I generally don’t do long distance but I thought that I would try it. I live in Texas and so does he but he’s in the military so he is deployed in New York I believe.

I will be going to college next year and I’m not sure when we will see each other since he is in the military and I don’t know what college I am going to yet. He’s sweet to me most of the time but sometimes he’s very trivial and he pisses me off. I get mad, and then he apologizes and I always just move on with the issue and then he gets me mad again. He says that he loves me and I told him that I have mixed emotions and he said that made him want to cry because he feels bad for treating me the way he does.

Sometimes he makes me so happy and other times I just don’t care if we talk at all. My guy friend is really cute and he said that he has liked me but I don't know if it’s just lust or whatever. I’m not really sure if I should continue the relationship or break it off. I really like him but at the same time, I can date a guy in the same city as me.

As you know, I am madly in love with one of my best friends I’ve known since we were both 3. In the recent times we saw each other we hugged more than before, took plenty of pictures, he was nicer to me than with anyone else (even his male/female friends!), and one of my best female friends asked him “What do you think about Dalia?”, he says “She’s very beautiful and super nice!”. He acted as if he had feelings for me too and it was great! He even agreed to do a plan with our mutual guy friend! My mom asked the principal to put him in class with me next year and they said yes (we go back there September 7th). As he’s coming back from his trip on September 6th, we have to do our outing on September 8th, a day after school starts. When I occasionally chatted wth him on Whatsapp, he was asking questions and was super nice to me, like our recent days. I’ve often thought of us being more than friends, to be precise, dating. One of us has to do the first move. Who should it be and why? Feel free to say, I won’t bite. If him, tell me how can I prompt it (he’s very outgoing and extroverted while I’m outgoing but introverted). If it’s me, what shall I say and do? Thank you very much <3

So there's this guy I've had feelings for, for as long as I can remember (5+ years to paint the picture). My feelings for him have always been on and off due to me second guessing myself and his demeanor. My gut tells me that somewhere deep down he has feelings for me too but my brain tells me I'm a fool. We don't talk much or know each other beyond peers but there's this unspoken connection or thing between us that my instincts tell me isn't one way. Whenever we interact his always making me blush and saying random things like "you have a pretty nose", "you're different to other girls" "your smile makes me...", a few years ago in class he told me indirectly he had a crush on me (he told the girl next to me very loudly) and I was trying so hard not to make eye contact with him but I knew he was staring at me to catch my reaction. Also he once sat next to me out of no where and pressed his full leg against mine for a whole period and didn't even say a word to me or move his leg away (I didn't either). But that was a few years ago now things are different we don't share many classes and the ones we do share together we don't even acknowledge each other and he's such a flirt with all the other girls and his always bragging the about shit he does with other girls with his buddies in class.

In the few years that's passed his become a such a different person but that dynamic between us is still there. When we interact it's not flirty it's more like him trying to understand me (from my perspective) and me trying not to humiliate myself. The way he interacts with me vs the way he interacts with other girls is sooo different; at least from my perspective. But anyways I'm sort of in mud now cause the years almost coming to an end and were both about to finish school and I don't know what to do. Do I tell him or do I wait till his of out my life.
