Search Results: asking for a girl's number

A good friend of mine, who did well with girls, back when he was single and before in a serious relationship. He often would give his number (not always), and I'm sure all didn't text him. But many did, and told me to at times. I've had girl I know girls like guys to probably text first, but to me it puts the ball in the girl's court. A girl may not always text for different reasons, but I feel if she does, it's more likely or her interested or quite interested in the guy if she does text a guy who gave her his number.

I feel sometimes women may text a guy back who she gave her number too out of being polite or maybe semi interest but then flake out. It can still happen if she texts a guy who gives his number, but I just feel a girl has to be pretty interested to initiate. But I wanted to kind of get a consensus and see girls opinions or survey with how women felt. You can add your two cents if you like though.

I just spent like 20 minutes talking to a new girl at the grocery store last night. We were geeking out about craft beer the whole time and I found that very attractive about her so I asked for her number. She smiled and said yes!

Why I'm asking, her hands started shaking while she was writing down her number. She had a really big grin after that so I don't think it's a bad thing.
