Personally, I have a lot of trouble taking people seriously if their views aren't their own. This generally comes up either with religions, when Islamists or many Christians are doing it out of habit because they don't know anything else and otherwise aren't actually harboring Christian beliefs; or if they think "the wife should submit to the husband" even though they have barely even talked to anyone from the other sex and have no idea what "submit" even means, or when they think "women are inherently feminine" and have no idea how to handle the fact when a woman they meet isn't """traditionally""" feminine because women clearly AREN'T just nurturing baby factories who bake cookies and clean the goddamn house. Maybe she's a better mechanic than you'll ever be, regardless of her vagina and ovaries. Oh, you can't handle the concept? Maybe grow out of your sexist nonsense and you'll have social relations beyond you being desperate to get someone to want to fuck you, I know that's all women are good for in your head.
