I miss him so much and think of him everyday. we broke up nine months ago but we just stopped seeing each other about two weeks ago. we dated 2.5 years and he used to say I was the love of this life and he was always going to love me and we were going to get married but now he says he has no feelings and things are done for good and he doesn't want to be a part of each others lives. is there any way he will regret this later on? he's really into partying right now and being single but is there a chance once he leaves his party days behinds and begins looking for a wife he will want me back? he says he has feelings for another girl now, but he said he can't see himself ending up with her. (shes in a sorority and parties and drinks and talks to a lot of guys- was nominated as biggest flirt at her school. they live in different states and only see each other about 4 times a year at parties)

I broke up with my ex of 4 and 1/2 years 3 weeks ago over a huge argument, we've had trouble in the past but i honestly thought we were doing better together as a couple. He hasn't been in touch with me since, but he's been asking about me to mutual friends. I was completely in love with him but i was extremely passionate and fiery. He was distant after every argument and very secretive regarding other women, i found out he went on dating websites and he chased after female friends emotionally. He loved attention, and was immature. I was also the first girl he'd kissed and been with, i'd dated other guys but he's my first long term relationship and love.

Now we've spent a month apart i've had time to grow as a person, i'm happier and less stressed. I've learnt a new language, got in the best shape i've ever been in, learnt how to swim. But i miss what we could have had together, i miss the stupid little things. The sweet gestures he made etc. I honestly believed that he was the guy that i was going to spend my life with.

However there's a new guy who i've been talking to and we seem to get along quite well. He's funny and sweet. Nothing serious, but he asked me out for a drink and i'm unsure of what to do.

Should i give this new guy a chance? Or should i try and contact my ex?

I have borderline personality disorder. being in a relationship is very hard for me. i fear commitment but crave it at the same time. i have pushed my boyfriend from 1,5 years away from me because it was hard for me to trust him due to my disorder. i went no contact for 2 months and he kept asking me to take him back. we broke up December 5 2015. two weeks ago he send me a message that he wanted to move on because he didn't think we would ever be together again because i never answered his texts. he also told me he was always gonna love me and that he really wanted to be my friend. he was very heartbroken and i felt very guilty. i never wanted to hurt him so bad , i thougt i wasn't good enough for him since i never trusted him and my disorder was getting in the way. yesterday i messaged him to meet me agian and maybe watch a movie. he told me that this wouldn't be a good idea since he only wanted a friendship which i didn't understand because he missed me so much. he told me that a week ago he has been in a relationship with some other girl. it crushed my heart to pieces. he told me he missed me just two days before his new relationship. it doesn't make sense to me. then he started getting mad because i didn't want him as a friend because i just couldn't handle that. i didn't answer because he was soooo mad. i went to bed and then suddenly he messaged me again... he blamed me for the pain he was feeling again because of my text. i called him and i told him he can't have us both and then he chose her. i told him to please not contact me again then. he agreed.
i'm so confused. do i ever have a chance again with this guy? does he really love this girl? i have never had a connection with someone like that before. he is everything to me. my best friend and lover and i just miss him so much , it is so sad. i went to therapy for him and i really wanted to work it out. thank you for reading :) please tell me what you think, it could really help me.
