I've been trying to get a read on one of my friends that I feel may be interested, but I'm not positive. He realized last week my birthday was this week and wanted to know what our group of friends is doing. I told him I wasn't sure I wanted to do much of anything. I really wanted to go to my favorite restaurant, but it's an hour and a half away and doubted many people would be down for that drive.
I had barely mentioned the name when he said he was in, because he loved it to, and before I knew what was happening he had set up a date, time, and carpool schedule for the 8 of us. I just kind of sat there watching this whole thing unfold, and he told me he and I can get there early and walk around downtown while waiting on every one since we get off work before everyone else.
My female friends (not in that friend group) think it's really sweet of him to do that, and that he had been waiting for me to mention it so he could make plans for me). I personally think since he had mentioned he had been wanting to go for a couple months, he more than likely was just excited about getting to go. Thoughts?
