My own sister just revealed she once framed someone for assault. She was 12 and the boy was 13; they're now 20 and 21.

Both of them were constantly harrassed in school. They were caught in the process of making out at a school dance and my sister (not wanting to get more bullied) pushed him away and lied about getting attacked.

The boy got punched by a couple classmates and all of them got suspended (him and the ones that punched him). Boy returns to school the following week, only to get more bullied than before. Lastly he moves to another school, not be to seen nor hear from again. My sister only told the truth to her close friends and me just now.

By the way this guy is neither my partner, father, brother or any other male relation.

So I don't know if it's just me, but he is the kinda guy who needs to have the last word and he's extremely pedantic about things that barely even matter.

In conversations say his point is 'it's a shame that Emily had great friends to support her through university, and you don't have that, it's like a constant battle for you' and my reply would be 'ah she's lucky to have had that, but I kinda prefer to do things on my own anyway' and he responds with 'Emily was just really lucky to have had that, they were great supports for each other' and I'm like 'yeah but I honestly don't mind' and so the cycle would go on.

Even if you were to respond to him in other social situations, he'd assume that you never understood his point if you never gave him an answer that he wanted to hear. At which point, he may get angry and repeat 'that's not what I'm saying' in a nasty tone.

And as far as actually getting to know him, forget that when he says things like 'people are scared I'll beat them up, but I just leave them wondering about what I'm really capable of. I'll get them to talk about themselves so I learn about them and say nothing about myself'.

He's very very opinionated and it seems that nothing anyone else says is ever valued by him. He's also considered as a 'bully' by other people in the neighbourhood and most of his friends are the submissive type who like to follow him and think he's tough.

This is like an almost 60 year old married man. I've never met anyone like him, what do you think?

Without going into extremes (such as getting falsely accused of a crime; obviously no amount of apology from the accuser/s will return those wasted years you spent in prison), there are a couple instances where those words would serve no purpose:
- Getting cheated on
- Getting bullied in all your HS years (sorry won't erase those years)
- Someone that went out of their ways trying to turn everyone against you, etc
It seems to me those words only served for very minor incidents, not big things like those listed above, esp not if someone purposely hurt you (former bullies).
