Today, I believe, it was announced that 39 year old actor, Nelsan Ellis who famously played gay cook Lafayette for 7 seasons on HBO's "True Blood," died due to heart complications and there is, as with many celebrity deaths, an outpouring of condolences and fan love. Some people find this ridiculous, to mourn the loss of a celebrity that you didn't know personally, but I'm of an opposite mind. I may not have know (whoever the celebrity is), but in this particular case, I watched all seasons of True Blood, admired his work, and so it's not like I knew him, but it's still sad to me that he has died so young and that his talent is gone forever. Am I going to go into a deep depression over it, no, but like with a Lennon or a Princess Di.. or a Bowie... I get why people do. They feel the loss because the celebrity was a part of their lives, especially with music. You can not know someone and still be inspired by, challenged by, comforted by, etc. their words or their talent or whatever their gift that has made them a celebrity in the first place.

Your thoughts? Mourning a celebrity too much or understandable?

So me and my boyfriend also, the father of my son, have had a rocky relationship for 4 years. He's gone behind my back plenty of times and I forgave. Never physically cheated that I know about, but would go on dating sites trying to hook up with other girls. Well recently we tried working on things and he took me to Galveston this weekend with his cousin. We were drinking alllllll day, and we went out to the bars that night, apparently I kissed a guy in front of him whom I didn't even know. I feel sick to my stomach. That isn't something I ever do so I'm at a loss of words. I can't eat, sleep, or even want to function. I feel so bad. I'm 100% loyal to him so for me to do that blows my mind. I love the guy so much, and I just feel so broken. I fucked up and I never do. It was such a big eye opener though. I'm obviously not good with drinking so I'm done for a long time.
