My ex boyfriend says; he loves me, I’m his best friend, I’ve been so wonderful to him but yet he’s confused/ needs space and wants to break up.! We never really fought at all, we are in our late 40’s and live in separate homes. He even told me he was planning on giving me a promise ring this Christmas which was less then 2 months away , then several days after he breaks up with me. He says there is no other woman too! I’m more confused then he probably is, but I can’t make him stay with me! I am so incredibly sad and hurt! I never would have seen this coming because of our great relationship and amazing things he has said to me!! It’s been a couple weeks and I stopped contact with him. Although, he texted me twice with questions about a password and how someone in my family was doing after surgery. I answered the question and no contact again! I cry every day because I don’t know what happened and we were so great together! We were intimate a lot, we helped each other out and had lots of laughs, almost perfect! What am I not seeing here? I just say over and over, “I cannot believe he did this”!!
