I was arguing with some dude on here who thought morals are objective.
I think morals are subjective.
We all choose our morals, do we not?
I would really like some third-party input on this. The dude sounds kinda homophobic too.
Sorry if my poll options are dramatic, but the second option is basically what he was saying.

If you need more context: I put my opinion on a question asking if I'd have a prison bitch. I said "even though I'm bi, it would go against my morals" etc, and then this dude replied "homosexuality is immoral" and I argued that people can have their own morals, he then disagreed.
So basically what he insists is that since he thinks bisexuality is immoral, I should see it as immoral too. It's also worth noting that he's from Algeria, so we probably grew up with different societal views.

This question came to mind after enjoying and respecting a comment from a certain user on a certain post of mine, I found that their explanation was very thorough and wanted to see how many people agreed with such a statement.

Of course I wouldn't throw in the users name because I don't want them to get nuked by hate by the ones who disagree.

I myself feel it is statistically rational to believe the statement, based on how many guys confess and how many girls confess, it seems perfectly fair to come to this conclusion that they wouldn't approach and confess to a guy out of fear of rejection and rather prefer to wait for the guy to approach them.

I want to make it VERY CLEAR, I DON'T BELIEVE THIS IS THE BEHAVIOUR OF ALL FEMALES, BUT A MAJORITY OF FEMALES.

Oh I freely admit it. The trick is not to allow one's self to be ruled by this.

The answer you give is not what many women I know in real life give. They admit to being equally intimidated by the prospect of rejection. And being passed over is *not* the same as being explicitly rejected. Society has it that women don't have to approach... and so they don't. Not out of a desire to challenge men, but out of a desire to avoid rejection. I've no reason to believe you or they are being dishonest.

This does not include duplicate accounts. I've heard stories of people creating multiple accounts to harass people after being blocked.
Feel free to go in the comments and explain what it takes for you to block somebody. How trigger-happy are you? What's the last straw? Is it because their answers annoying? Is it because you disagree with their political views? Is it because they harass you?
