lied about your age when you were a minor just so you can sleep with a adult male (lets say age 20-25)?

I've never done it before but it has actually happened to one of my friends (who's 23 years old). He dated a 16 year old girl who has the body figure of a 30 year old woman and looks a little older than her age (and she lied about her real age). He nearly got caught and in serious legal trouble but luckily, he was smart enough to have protection on him while he did the under-aged teen girl.

As a young adult male, I don't know what's up with today's under-aged teen girls who want to lie about their real age just so they can have sex with grown men, knowing well that they could get us men in legal trouble.

There's this girl I've like for the past 4 years, and we've both told each other how the other means to us and I guess you could say we're almost best friends. Around when we first met, she knew that I liked her, but as time went on, she thought I that moved. When she knew, she didn't like me whatsoever and totally brushed me off whenever I tried flirting with her. Last month, she went through a serious breakup with a guy she was with for around 5 months, and I helped her though it - since her breakup we've been talking every day almost 24/7 (we've sent 500 texts back and forth just over the past couple days). Last week she confided in a mutual friend of ours that she wishes she could like me because of just how much we get along and because she's really attracted to me, but she doesn't know if we could be together because she's not sure about dating younger guys (she's a tiny bit over two years older than me - 733 days, which isn't much at all if you ask me), which is pretty frustrating because nearly everyone I meet says I both act and even look like I'm in my late teens rather than 16. Since I found out we've still flirted a bit, but I feel weird because I don't know what to feel now. I still want to be her friend, because I truly love her even as friend - she's always been someone I could go to talk about things and she feels the same way about me. I asked several people what they thought - some said just move on, whereas other said I shouldn't give up, but I should talk it slow and just maintain our friendship until she can fully recover from her breakup. I don't know if she was just saying she doesn't know about us because she doesn't want to date anyone so soon after her breakup, or if she just feels that way. Our mutual friend told me today that she honestly thinks the only reason she doesn't want a relationship is because of the age and that she actually really like me - her bias is just holding her back from anything right now. What do I do?

I noticed that hot high school girls hook up with guys more than other girls while the average looking girls seem to want relationships more.
