So, there's a job fair near me and they are doing interviews. Unfortunately I can't afford to get my hair done in a weave but I could get it straightened but I don't see a point in getting it straightened because it won't last long and hair prices are insanely pricy here so I didn't have a choice but to go natural. Shockingly enough my family thinks it is cute and the style came out much better than I expected it too. It took a long time to do and my hair is so soft... But I am worried that I won't get a job due to my hair texture. I am black and most places don't want you to look too African so I was thinking of waiting until next week when I can get a weave. I actually like wearing my hair out I just worry about other people's opinion and thought of how I look.

A federal judge in Texas declared the male-only draft unconstitutional. Now, they're saying that women should also be required to sign up for the draft since we allow women in combat roles.
Men are required to sign up when they turn 18 and are denied some services like government assistance, some jobs, and in some states even ID.

My brother was actually in combat, and he and his friends (who are also combat vets) do not agree that women should be drafted, and that women shouldn't even be in combat. (And no, he's no feminist. He's actually very anti feminism in the US. They just feel that the average woman cannot handle the stresses of combat, and they'd be too much of a distraction. And no, not "sexual" necessarily, but more like caveman instincts might kick in and they'll do everything in their power to protect the woman, even at the cost of the rest of the group.)

So do you think the US should require women to register for the military draft? Or should it only be men? Or should we get rid of the requirement altogether (no draft for men or women)?
(Don't worry, women aren't required to sign up for it, yet. This was just a decision the judge made, but it is a possibility that it could be enforced in the near future.)
