My sociology teacher has always been great to me, but I have to admit... he is an asshole with the rest of the students... There have been times in which he has complimented my looks, my ideas, and many times I’ve caught checking me out.. one time we were presenting and I noticed he was putting everyone on spot that they didn’t do their work/research well, but when I went up, I even said I was nervous and he was just like “you’re doing fine”, and he asked me questions, I ended up having a conversation with him and both laughed... he respects me a lot. Anyway, after that day I arrived early to class and asked him a few questions but he kept looking at his computer, avoided eye contact and barely responded my questions, he was very serious and he ignored me like I didn’t exist. Anyway, then last Tuesday I sent him a message asking if the day of our final had changed, he never replied to me but instead he sent a general answer to all students... his attitude changed completely with me. But regardless of that, I admit that I have learned so much from his lectures... so I was thinking of writing a “thank you + Christmas card” for him and some give him a little box of chocolates. Do you think it will be inappropriate? Any suggestions or comments are welcome! 😊
