Search Results: helping boyfriend with problems

So I am at a long distance relationship with this guy for some months now. The problem is that after one and half month we talked he said one day out of the blue that he lives at the same house with his ex wife. He said they got a divorce ( I didn't see the divorce papers and I asked for them many times ) and he lives with her because he feels guilty because he was the one who wanted the divorce and he pays rent and helps her economically. Till when No one knows. He told me till she will be independent and then he will move out. I asked for her picture basically I wanted info he doenst give. He told me he will give in time when he feels ready and he just wishes all this to finish. And he doesn't want to talk about this because it makes him sad and also because he wouldn't like to see my exes. this would make him feel bad so he thinks if he will show me his ex this will make me feel bad too. When he is at home I offered to have an open line through apps. We don't need to talk just for me to have a chance to hear his background and the way he talks with her. He didn't want. He says all this stresses him and doesn't want to talk and avoids.
To his defense he told me by himself about all this. I mean he could keep this a secret and I wouldn't know but he told me.
Also except for this be is always kind and he is always there for me helping me when I need him.
I just don't understand this one thing. What you believe?
